A large-scale police operation in the Sunny Beach resort complex revealed organized criminal activity related to illegal nitrous oxide trade among minors. On August 14, officers from the Nesebar District Police Department successfully detained two young distributors.

The incident was documented around 2:10 PM in the area between the Sunny Beach Club complex and the Imperial Resort hotel, where police officers noticed a parked Sofia-registered BMW with two 19-year-old young men. Next to the vehicle was a pallet with bottles containing nitrous oxide.

During the check, a 16-year-old from Sofia was also identified, who was holding balloons and cash. The youth admitted to buying nitrous oxide directly from the detained individuals.

During a thorough inspection, law enforcement seized a total of 32 bottles with 2,000 grams of nitrous oxide and 19 boxes with 114 bottles of 670 grams each. Additionally, five boxes with 25 bottles were found in the car, and in the room occupied by the young men, another bottle, a notebook with notes, and polyethylene bags were discovered.

The investigation confirmed that the seized quantities were intended for distribution among minors at the resort. The two young traffickers were detained for up to 24 hours, and work on establishing the full scope of their criminal activity continues.
