GDBOP special operation against procuring in Burgas
The District Prosecutor's Office in Burgas has filed a request for the permanent detention of A.A. and L.P. The two are accused of systematically providing a premise for sexual intercourse for profit in the period from November 2025 to May 2026.
The criminal activity was uncovered following a large-scale specialized operation by GDBOP, conducted on the territory of the municipalities of Burgas and Nesebar.
Investigation details
- Searches were carried out in a nightclub, four residences, and two vehicles.
- Evidence was seized, including a sum of over 14,000 euros and mobile phones.
- It was established that the accused are linked to the ownership of a commercial establishment used for the criminal activity.
The District Court in Burgas is scheduled to review the request for remand measures on May 11, 2026, regarding A.A. and L.P. Within the framework of the same pre-trial proceeding, a third defendant, V.V., has also been charged and placed under a “signature” release measure for procuring.
