Operation against the neo-Nazi organization "Blood and Honour"
Following a specialized police and SANS operation in Plovdiv, three men aged 42, 39, and 18 have been charged for their activities within the neo-Nazi organization "Blood and Honour". During searches at a private club, Nazi symbols, swastikas, and propaganda literature were discovered.
"It is being established in the course of the investigation that members of the organization were motivated by its ideology to carry out attacks based on race and ethnicity," stated Deputy District Prosecutor Neno Dimov.
Key details of the case:
- Accused: A 42-year-old perpetrator and two accomplices (aged 39 and 18).
- Family connection: The 18-year-old defendant is the same youth investigated for the assault on Nepalese citizens, and the 39-year-old is his father.
- Ideology: Fascist ideas were discussed in the club, and intolerance toward foreigners and people with different sexual orientations was preached.
At this moment, the prosecution has found no direct link between "Blood and Honour" and the murder at Youth Hill (Mladezhki Halm), although minor acquaintances between the participants in the two cases have been established. The investigation continues, with other attempted attacks incited by neo-Nazi ideology also being examined.
