Radoslav Rosenov is a four-time European champion for men under 23 years old. The Bulgarian rewrote the history of European boxing, winning a gold medal for a record time in the under 60 kg category. Our national team member prevailed over the Turk Cinar Mehmetal on the final of the championship in Budapest.

Rosenov, who will turn 22 in two weeks, achieved his 17th consecutive victory at European championships in this age group. He played with great self-confidence, showed his familiar style of “dancing” in the ring, and left almost no chances for his opponent. Completely deservedly and the result was categorical – 5:0 referee votes for Radoslav.

The victory was also a gift for coach Joel Arate, who is celebrating his 44th birthday today.
