Expectations are for serious challenges facing the country, related to the supply of fuels, as well as their prices. President Rumen Radev emphasized this concern, stating that all necessary measures are expected to prevent a crisis. The tension is visible, the head of state emphasized, referring to the escalation of the situation.
"I have said it long ago. Every day this war continues will lead to escalation in all other spheres" - the president said, referring to the consequences of the war.
One of the main challenges facing the government at the moment is preventing a fuel crisis, as well as dealing with the potential rise in prices. According to Radev, the state should not be treated as a means of personal gain.
The president thanked his employees, that despite attempts to sabotage the institution, they have continued to work. "After they failed to block the activities of the presidential institution, I thank our employees. They offer us Trojan gifts to compromise it" - he noted.
Again, the president expressed gratitude to the media for the interest shown in his wife, stressing that this interest has led to lawsuits due to numerous slanders and falsehoods. He also commented on alleged questions about the use of cars.
"Such a BMW is used by another Desislava, but not mine" - the president stated.
Radev added that certain individuals do not hesitate to break the laws.
The question arises as to why certain political figures use armored vehicles, emphasizing the need for clarification of this practice.
"Why are Peevski and Borisov riding in the brand new armored vehicles? Which are due to the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the National Assembly. These people made an absolute circus today and in fact in their whole essence of governance are not guided by the law, but only and solely by personal interest. And this personal interest does not lead to the well-being of the people. It leads to drawers, to bundles of money, offshore companies, properties abroad. And all the things that we don't know, but I hope we'll find out one day" - Radev said.
Yesterday the "Magnitsky" coalition was announced, the president emphasized. "Peevski rules, Borisov executes" - he added.
According to the head of state, such a governance collaboration cannot be sustainable, as it puts citizens, including members of the GERB party and Borisov himself, dependent on the whims of one person.
