Sand sculptors Remy and Paul Hoggard once again gifted the citizens and guests of Burgas with their art, creating a unique sand sculpture for the holidays. It is located near the City Clock, close to the Municipality building, and the impressive work is made with over 10 tons of sand. This is reported by the press center of the Municipality.
This year, the theme of the sculpture is inspired by Christian tradition and depicts a scene with the Virgin Mary and the Christ Child, carrying the message of "Christmas warmth".
We thank the Municipality of Burgas for providing the opportunity to present our Christmas gift to the citizens and guests of the city. We have many more ideas. We promise to make our art even more exciting and intriguing, say Remy and Paul Hoggard. The artists invite everyone who wants to immerse themselves in the Christmas atmosphere and take photos with the unique sculpture to visit the location in front of the City Clock in the city center.
The initiative was realized with the support of the Municipality of Burgas.
The British couple Remy and Paul Hoggard have been living and creating in Burgas for years. They have created huge sand sculptures, including figures of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, the prophetess Vanga, dolphins, a huge elephant, and many others. On Epiphany, the two sculptors also created an impressive 13-meter cross from sand.
