Traffic Accidents: Two Dead and Many Injured in Crashes in Bulgaria

The Ministry of Interior reported serious traffic accidents in Bulgaria. Two people died, and 12 were injured in the last 24 hours, totaling 13 serious accidents.

Two people have lost their lives and twelve have been injured as a result of serious traffic accidents in the country over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior announced on its website. The data reveals a grim picture of road safety, with the total number of serious accidents for the reporting period amounting to thirteen.

In the capital, Sofia, the situation seems a little calmer, although incidents are not absent there either. A total of twenty minor traffic accidents have been registered, along with one serious one. In these incidents, one person was injured, but fortunately, there were no fatalities.

The analysis of the data for the current month shows that road incidents are a constant threat. Since the beginning of the month, the total number of accidents has reached 253, causing the death of 15 people and injuring another 318.

Even more alarming is the picture from the beginning of the current year. Since January, a total of 5387 traffic accidents have been registered in the country. These incidents have claimed the lives of 341 people, and another 6729 have been injured.
