New Schedule and Route for Bus Line No. 5
Residents of several settlements in the region will have to adjust to temporary but significant changes in the schedule and route of a key bus line. Starting Saturday, September 6, 2025, bus line No. 5, which serves routes to the village of Ravna Gora, will undergo a major update that will affect travelers between Burgas and the villages of Rosen, Ravna Gora, Atia, as well as Minyor Quarter.
The change, which is defined as temporary, introduces a new route that will impact the daily commutes of hundreds of people. Instead of the previous route, the bus will follow a new pattern:
Burgas – Rosenets locality – Rosen village – Ravna Gora village – Rosen village – Rosenets locality – Atia – Minyor Quarter – Atia – Burgas.
This route correction requires travelers to review their plans and schedules to avoid inconvenience.
With the changed route, the departure times from the village of Ravna Gora are also updated.
- Weekdays: 11:50, 14:50 and 18:20.
- Holidays: 06:50, 11:50 and 18:20.
The authorities expressed hope that the introduced changes will be met with understanding from the residents. The carrier, for its part, assured that despite the inconvenience of the temporary change, the goal is to provide optimal service to the affected areas. It is not yet clear how long the new schedule will remain in effect, but citizens are urged to follow official announcements for any future corrections or a return to the old route.
Many of the regular passengers who rely on the line for access to their workplaces and other commitments are waiting to see how the new schedule will affect their mobility.
