The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has initiated a pre-trial investigation against Delyan Peevski, leader of “DPS-New Beginning,” following a signal from “Yes, Bulgaria.”

The signal, sent in September to the Anti-Corruption Commission (KONPI), the National Revenue Agency (NRA), and the Prosecutor General, concerns potential discrepancies in Peevski's declared income.

Bozhidar Bozhanov and Ivaylo Mirchev claim that Peevski declared more dividends than his companies paid out. They are demanding checks from the institutions.

From “Yes, Bulgaria” they want KONPI to check Peevski's assets, and the NRA to verify the declared income from dividends and rent.

The prosecution must conduct an objective investigation based on publicly available data.

In October 2025, Ivaylo Mirchev and Bozhidar Bozhanov sought answers from the Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK), but a meeting did not take place. Bozhanov mentioned a “compromising bank” and discrepancies in Peevski's financial status.
