Over the past three days, the Ministry of Interior employees in the Burgas region have registered extensive criminal activity, which includes a total of 19 criminal cases. Official statistics record ten thefts, nine additional crimes, four fires, and seven traffic accidents.

Among the most significant revealed crimes are a series of thefts committed by two young men from Plovdiv, aged 23 and 24. They were detained after a series of crimes in the resort complex Sunny Beach, including robbing elderly tourists and local residents.

Police officers have documented numerous cases of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Six drivers with blood alcohol levels between 1.23 and 2.61 per mille were detained, as well as several individuals driving after consuming various intoxicating substances.

Traffic accidents include seven incidents of varying severity, some of which led to minor injuries to children and adults. The most serious case involves hitting a seven-year-old boy in Pomorie, who was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Firefighters have dealt with four fires in different parts of the region, including burning electrical installations, storage facilities, and light vehicles. The causes of the incidents are under investigation.

Especially tragic is the case of a 44-year-old man from the village of Gabar, who died after consuming an excessive amount of alcohol while swimming. Despite attempts at resuscitation, the man could not be saved.

Police officers from various district departments - Nessebar, Sozopol, Primorsko, Aytos, and Burgas - worked in coordination to uncover and document the crimes. Most of those detained have made full confessions, which facilitates the investigation.

The information bulletin emphasizes the need for increased attention among citizens regarding personal safety, sober driving, and compliance with public order.
