The „Peio Yavorov“ Regional Library presents the special album „Theatrical Poster, Painting, Digital Graphics, Postage Stamp“ on September 24 at 18:00. The event, located at 14 Sredna Gora St., is dedicated to the creative journey and anniversary of the artist Stoyko Sakaliev. Admission is free.
During the evening, Penka Sedlarska, Simeon Dimitrov, and Penyo Kostadinov will share their reflections on Sakaliev's artistic style and discuss the significant directions in his work. The creator uses the image not merely as a depiction, but as a medium for storytelling, creating memory, and leaving a lasting impression.
The new publication offers an overview of Sakaliev's rich and recognizable creative world, bringing together four main disciplines:
- theatrical poster;
- painting;
- digital graphics;
- visual identity, presented through a postage stamp.
The album traces his artistic evolution — from the influence of theatrical posters and painting to the contemporary language of digital graphics.
