The government has undertaken two key reforms linked to the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) to improve transport services and secure funding. A new Public Transport Act is approved, and contracts are being signed for passenger rail transport.

The government made two key decisions related to reforms that are directly linked to payments under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP). Deputy Prime Minister Grozdan Karadjov emphasized that without the implementation of the reforms, the funds under the RRP are at risk.

Karadjov assured that there will be no staff cuts at BDZ and that social benefits will be preserved. The decision for the island of St. Kirik and Julita returns the management of the quay wall and the adjacent zone to the State Enterprise "Port Infrastructure".
