A fire destroyed the roof and floor of a house in the village of Karanovo, near Aytos. The blaze broke out on Friday, Burgas regional police said.
Aytos police received the alert at about 12:30pm. Three firefighters with one fire engine put out the blaze. The beams and boards that made up the roof and floor burned down.
The house belongs to a 67-year-old woman from the village. Her 57-year-old brother lives there.
Firefighters found that the house has no electricity and is heated with a wood stove. The cause of the fire and the cost of the damage are still being established. Police have opened a pre-trial investigation.
