Postbank takes a strategic step in its technological development by opening a modern Digital Innovation Center in Varna on July 24, 2025. The initiative is part of an ambitious plan to decentralize high-tech teams outside the capital.

The new technology hub will focus on key digital areas, including developing mobile solutions, creating innovative user interfaces, ensuring cybersecurity, and implementing artificial intelligence in banking processes.

According to management forecasts, by the end of 2026, the center will have over 100 highly qualified specialists. The initial wave of talent includes 40 positions that will be opened as early as 2025.

Petya Dimitrova, CEO, emphasizes the strategic advantages of the chosen location: "Varna offers exceptional potential with a quality educational environment and the presence of technical personnel". The bank has already established a partnership with the Technical University - Varna, with plans for joint internship programs.

This center represents the second step in Postbank's regional expansion, following the successful implementation of a similar project in Plovdiv in 2023, where over 120 IT specialists currently work. Experts expect such initiatives to become a trend among financial and technological institutions in Bulgaria.
