Runners of various ages, from just 5 years old to almost 70 years old, participated in the "Pomorie Run" challenge. This sporting event, celebrating its seventh season, was part of the "Run Bulgaria" series, organized by the Bulgarian Athletics Federation in cooperation with Pomorie Municipality. Today, on the dike, located between the picturesque Pomorie Lake and the vast Black Sea, the competitors tested their strength.

The challenge for the participants included a 10-kilometer course, divided into two parts. The first half of the distance, a full 5 kilometers, passed along the sand, causing additional physical strain for the athletes. The second part of the course, also 5 kilometers, consisted of a dirt road. The attractive course, with its variety, attracted runners from different countries, including Hungary, Great Britain, Russia, Turkey, and of course, Bulgaria.

Excitement was felt as the competitors prepared for the start. The good organization and sunny weather contributed to a truly perfect sporting atmosphere.

Nearly 70 competitors took part in the long-distance race of 10.25 km. After a fierce struggle, the winners in the men's category were formed.

In the women's category, the competition in Pomorie again offered exciting moments. First place was won with a convincing lead by a young but extremely fast lady.

The winners, both men and women, received cash prizes for their efforts. For everyone who managed to cross the finish line, unique medals were provided. The winners also left with additional gifts from Pomorie Municipality, including t-shirts and vouchers from Sport Depot. The awards were presented by the Deputy Mayor of Pomorie Municipality, Yancho Iliev, Anton Bonov from the Bulgarian Athletics Federation, and the "Sport" expert Adelina Choleva.

The event ended with a group photo of the best runners in "Pomorie Run" - 2025, forever capturing the memories of this exciting day.
