A large-scale youth center will be built in Pomorie thanks to full financing under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The project, which officially starts today, aims to create a modern space for adolescents and young people between 13 and 29 years old.
Mayor Ivan Aleksiev emphasized the strategic importance of the new center, which will offer innovative educational and developmental activities. The main areas include improving digital competencies, developing entrepreneurial literacy, communication skills, and media culture.
Initial activities include archaeological surveys of the site, located near the "Veselushko" kindergarten in the North neighborhood. Specialized teams are already working on preparing the construction site.
The project provides for large-scale international partnerships, including organizing joint training and exchange of good practices with youth centers from Bulgaria, the European Union, and Pomorie's sister cities.
The deadline for project implementation is June 30, 2026. The municipality encourages citizens to follow current news through its official communication channels, including a Viber group with up-to-date information.
