Sharp criticism of government economic initiatives was made by the political format "Yes, Bulgaria" through its co-chairman Ivaylo Mirchev. In an expert commentary, he emphasized the inconsistency of the proposed measures to control market prices.

Mirchev categorically stated that the existing price problem can only be solved through an alternative right-wing economic package. Among the specific proposals are the introduction of transparent product fees and a mechanism for daily announcement of market prices in commercial establishments.

The politician described the current government initiatives as "turbulent populism", directly linking them to support for figures like Delyan Peevski. Special attention was paid to the so-called "Stores for the People", which were characterized as an attempt at market manipulation.

Parallel to the economic topic, another co-chairman of the formation - Bozhidar Bozhanov, commented on issues related to national security. He announced that "Democratic Bulgaria" will not participate in the joint meeting initiated by the MEH coalition regarding a potential vote of no confidence.

Bozhanov emphasized the need for an individual meeting during which specific issues of smuggling channels and connections would be clarified. The politician focused on GERB's responsibility for the actions of the so-called "Peevski's enforcers".

The formation maintained its position that a potential vote of no confidence should be submitted in September, after an in-depth analysis and justification. This approach demonstrates a striving for precision and political responsibility.

The Council of Ministers, for its part, does not plan to consider the issue of creating a "Store for the People" in its current meeting, which further emphasizes the political tension.

The statements of political leaders clearly show the ongoing discussions and contradictions in the Bulgarian political space regarding economic policy and national security.
