Increased police presence continues in the Elenite holiday village, where round-the-clock security has been in place for days. The reason for the increased measures is a flood that has befallen the area, which necessitated additional precautionary measures. The news was confirmed by Senior Commissioner Vladimir Marinov, director of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Burgas, in a statement to journalists.

Currently, according to information from the authorities, access to the affected area is allowed for property owners until 5:00 PM. After this hour and until 8:30 AM the next morning, access will be restricted for everyone. This measure has been taken in order to ensure maximum security and prevent potential incidents.

On the ground, according to the words of Senior Commissioner Marinov, four police teams patrol around the clock. In addition, additional forces have been deployed to guard the approaches from the wooded area, located in the direction of the holiday village. This preventive measure is aimed at preventing potential encroachments or other unwanted incidents, and aims to guarantee the peace of mind of the owners and the security of their properties.

So far, the director of the Burgas police reassured, no reports have been received from owners of missing valuables. Nevertheless, there are reports of damage related to damaged equipment, as well as missing furniture and household electronics. The situation is being closely monitored, and law enforcement officers continue to work hard to ensure safety.
