Burgas Swimming Marathon: From the Island to the Bridge
The long-awaited municipal swimming marathon from Saint Anastasia Island to the Bridge will take place on July 25. The sporting event is organized by the Municipality of Burgas in partnership with SC "Metropol" and numerous state institutions, ensuring the safety of the participants.
The route is 6,400 meters long in a straight line.
Conditions for participation:
- Age: over 16 years.
- Mandatory medical examination on July 25 at 07:00 AM at the Burgas Marine Station.

Prize fund and categories:
The total prize fund amounts to 5,100 euros, distributed into three age groups for men and women:
- Under 35 years: Prizes from 50 to 500 euros for the top 10 finishers.
- Under 50 years: Prizes from 75 to 125 euros for the top 3 places.
- Over 51 years: Prizes from 25 to 75 euros for the top 3 places.
Special prizes of 50 euros each are also provided for "Youngest Participant", "Oldest Participant", and "Swimmer with Disabilities".
