For the second year in a row, three educational institutions have united in a common initiative - the plein air "Give a Smile". Children from Kindergarten "Magic", students from Primary School "P. R. Slaveykov" and Vocational High School of Electronics "G. S. Rakovski", as well as a student from the National Academy of Arts - Burgas branch, painted canvases with an Easter theme together.
The initiative is the result of a tripartite agreement between the three educational institutions, which was signed in February 2025 to the Municipality of Burgas, the aim of which is to prove that in Burgas there is a bridge between the kindergarten, the primary school, the high school and the universities, because for education and culture in our city there are no boundaries.
With wishes for bright holidays, with sunny smiles of good, the children and students delighted with their canvases Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, Deputy Mayor for Education Mihail Nenov, Katya Misheva - Director of the "Education and Youth Policies" Directorate, Zlatina Karaivanova - Director of the "Budget and Finance" Directorate, Deputy Mayor for Sports and Tourism Manol Todorov, Deputy Mayor for Budget and Finance Stanimir Apostolov, Deputy Mayor for Culture Diana Savateva, Deputy Mayor for Construction Chanka Koralska, as well as Valentina Kamalieva - Head of RUI - Burgas.
With their smiles and good wishes with their paintings, the children also sent their wishes to the elderly people from the Social Garden for the Elderly "Grizhovnik" to the Municipality of Burgas, as well as to the children from the CSOP - Burgas.
The signed agreement is in line with the policy of the Municipality of Burgas for active interaction between educational and cultural institutions, because it is through such initiatives that a living link is built between generations and values, empathy and a striving for good are cultivated.
