A drunk woman spent the night in custody after trying to thwart a police check related to her son. The incident, which occurred on a busy street, caught the attention of the local community and highlights the tension between citizens and law enforcement.
According to information from police sources, everything happened on October 17th around 11:10 PM on "Han Krum" Street in front of number 16 in the city of Nessebar. Officers from the Nessebar Regional Police Department stopped a 17-year-old youth from Burgas for inspection, who was driving an electric scooter on a sidewalk intended for pedestrians, in the dark part of the day.
At the time of the inspection, a woman, who had visibly consumed alcohol, approached the police officers. She stated that she was the young man's mother. The atmosphere at the scene, according to witnesses, quickly heated up. When asked for an identity document, the woman began to behave arrogantly, raising her voice and shouting, obviously trying to obstruct and thwart the police check. Eyewitnesses tell of the visible tension.
Following these actions, the police were forced to take action. As a result, a 37-year-old woman from Burgas was detained with a detention order for up to 24 hours. In view of the development of the case, a rapid investigation has been launched. Details about the incident are still being clarified, and local authorities promise to provide additional information on the case as soon as possible.
