Police in Burgas stopped a 31-year-old driver from Skalak, a village in Ruen municipality, last night on suspicion of drink-driving. A breathalyser test showed 1.33 per mille, Burgas regional police (ODMVR) said.
Officers from the Second District Police Department made the check at about 10.35pm on Trakia Boulevard, next to block 127 in the Slaveykov neighbourhood. The man was driving a Hyundai i10.
Police held him for up to 24 hours and opened fast-track proceedings against him.
ODMVR said he is the latest drunk driver caught by officers.
