Three people were injured in road accidents that occurred within a single day, the police announced. The cases that drew attention involve a pedestrian, a motorcyclist, and a driver.
On October 29, around 11:40 a.m., on "Panayot Hitov" Street in the Burgas residential complex "Lazur", a "Ford Transit" truck with Burgas registration, driven by a 52-year-old from Burgas, while reversing, hit an 88-year-old pedestrian from Burgas. The woman suffered a fracture of the right hip and was admitted for treatment to the orthopedic department of UMBAL - Burgas. Doctors assured that there was no danger to her life.
Around 5:44 p.m. on the Burgas - Varna road, in the direction of the "Sarafovo" quarter, a "Volkswagen Passat" car with Dobrich registration, driven by a 33-year-old man from General Toshevo, due to failure to maintain a safe distance, hit the car in front of it, "Mazda 2" with Burgas registration, driven by a 32-year-old man from Nessebar, which bounced forward and hit the car in front of it, "Audi A 6" with Burgas registration, driven by a 36-year-old woman from the village of Ravda. The driver suffered a head and chest contusion. She was examined at the "Heart and Brain" hospital and was released for home treatment, with no danger to life.
