The Parliament approved in two readings in one session two bills for the ratification of two international treaties for the acquisition of a mobile missile system (NSM) for coastal defense and a multi-functional information distribution system (MIDS JTRS).

The treaties were submitted by the Council of Ministers and are part of the project for the acquisition of coastal anti-ship missile systems. Their aim is to expand the scope of tasks of the Navy, increase operational compatibility with NATO and contribute to the collective defense of the Alliance.

Dimcho Dimchev from "Vazrazhdane" expressed doubts about the trust of the USA. Krasimira Katincharova from "Velichie" announced that they would not support the ratification, defining it as unacceptable, given the government's resignation.

Hristo Gadjev (GERB-SDS) explained that the ratification is mandatory by decision of the National Assembly.
