Between five and seven decares of dry grass and bushes were burned in a fire that broke out yesterday behind the pine forest in the area of the Meden Rudnik residential complex in Burgas. At the time of the incident, no significant material damage was reported, the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior clarified to the media.
Around 3:20 p.m., the Fourth District Police Department in Burgas received a report about the burning vegetation. In the subsequent firefighting operation, 20 firefighters divided into eight firefighting teams were involved and managed to bring the flames under control.
At this moment, investigators from the Fourth District Police Department in Burgas are continuing their work to clarify the circumstances surrounding the occurrence of the incident.
