Orange and Yellow Weather Code: Current Overview of Meteorological Warnings from NIMH

Current information on meteorological warnings in Bulgaria for today. NIMH has announced orange and yellow codes for various regions, warning of snow, ice, strong wind, and rain.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has announced an orange code for four regions and a yellow code for 19 regions in the country for today.

An orange code, warning of snow, ice, and strong wind, is in effect for the regions of Dobrich, Razgrad, Ruse, and Silistra.

A yellow code for strong wind has been announced for the regions of: Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Montana, Plovdiv, and Sliven. For Varna, Vratsa, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Lovech, Pazardzhik, Pleven, Targovishte, and Shumen, yellow warnings for strong wind, as well as snow and ice, apply. A yellow code for rainfall is in effect for the regions of Burgas and Haskovo, for snowfall for Sofia region and Smolyan, and for Kardzhali – for snow and rain.

The regions of Kyustendil, Pernik, Sofia city, Stara Zagora, and Yambol are without warnings for dangerous weather.
