2024 Budget: What did the MPs decide?

Members of Parliament voted definitively on the state budget after a five-hour session. Using an original approach, the budgetary framework was adopted first, which set the main parameters for revenues and expenditures, limiting the possibility for subsequent corrections.

The deficit is planned at 7.2 billion euros, which represents 5.7% of GDP, although the European Commission projects lower levels of 4.2%.
