The Council of Ministers approved the final structure of the "St. Anastasia" Children's Hospital in Burgas, defining the full scope of activity of the medical institution. This decision is crucial for moving forward the process of equipping and submitting documents for issuing a permit for operation.
The hospital will have 142 hospital beds, distributed in clinics and departments by major medical specialties, including:
- Pediatrics
- Pediatric Surgery
- Orthopedics and Traumatology
- Pediatric Cardiology
- Endocrinology and Nephrology
- Pediatric Neurology
There will also be a specialized emergency department for pediatrics.
In order to reach the final stage of registration, a team needs to be formed. The recruitment of administrative staff has already been completed. Meetings are currently being held with candidates for doctors and medical specialists. A competition has been announced for a manager with a deadline for submitting documents on February 10, 2026.
The Children's Hospital will offer diagnosis and treatment in the following clinics and departments:

The hospital will have a specialized emergency department for pediatrics and a hospital pharmacy.
