Today's meeting of the Burgas Municipal Council will be filled with a diverse program, including highlights such as the annual report on municipal concessions, presented by Deputy Mayor for Financial Affairs Stanimir Apostolov, as well as a discussion of personnel issues in the healthcare sector.
The councilors will consider the proposal for a competition for the manager of the St. Anastasia Children's Hospital and the election of a head of the Vjera i Nadezhda - Burgas Medical Center.
A memorandum between Burgas Municipality, the municipalities of the region, and the Burgas - 2032 Foundation will also be discussed, regulating the efforts to prepare the candidacy for the European Capital of Culture 2032.
In the education sector, the financial framework of vocational high schools and the possibility of updating the value of lecture hours will be examined. The municipality will seek approval to participate in a procedure under the Education Program 2021–2027.
Discussions are forthcoming on changes to detailed urban plans, expropriation of land, and the sale of municipal properties in the neighborhoods of Cherno More, Rudnik, Sarafovo and others, as well as a proposal from Vazrazhdane for the creation of a public online register of municipal properties.
