Ecological mobility at the service of the citizens of Pomorie
Pomorie Municipality is marking significant progress in the modernization of social activities through the successful implementation of project BG-RRP-13.009, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Improved efficiency of social patronage
As part of the project, a new electric vehicle and a charging station were purchased. The vehicle has been provided to the Municipal Enterprise "Social Services" and is already actively supporting the daily tasks of the teams:
- Delivery of food to users of the Home Social Patronage.
- Providing fast and reliable transport for social workers.
- Increasing the quality and timeliness of care for those in need.
"The investment provides more modern and sustainable services, while simultaneously drastically reducing harmful emissions in the city," the municipal administration shares.
A sustainable future for social activities
The use of environmentally friendly transport not only reduces maintenance and fuel costs but also establishes Pomorie Municipality as a leader in the application of "green" technologies in the public sector. The project is proof that caring for people and caring for nature can go hand in hand.
