In 2025, 212 babies were born in the Municipality of Nessebar, and their parents were paid a one-time assistance of BGN 2,000, totaling BGN 424,000. This includes a pair of twins.
Of the newborns, 111 are boys and 101 are girls. In addition, the municipality has supported 7 couples for in-vitro procedures with a total of BGN 14,000.
Caring for the youngest citizens and their parents is a priority in the social policy of the Municipality of Nessebar. Since 2007, a one-time assistance is provided for every family with a newborn, and later funds for in-vitro procedures were added.
The municipality strives to create good living conditions in order to keep young people living and working within the territory of the municipality.
