Tsarevo Municipality will not introduce blue and yellow parking zones, the municipality's press center announced.
Instead, the construction of several free buffer parking lots is planned in Tsarevo, including in the "Vasiliko" district, as well as one in Lozenets and Ahtopol.
The existing system for prepaid parking via a "cone" type subscription remains in effect, and the system will be upgraded with stricter control.
Paid parking lots for short-term parking will also operate in the territory of Tsarevo.
Citizens can apply for a parking subscription, with the prices and conditions remaining unchanged. The locations of the free parking lots will be determined by the beginning of the summer season.
The decision was made after a public discussion, during which proposals were discussed for the complete coverage of the settlements with a blue zone, which the Municipality considers an extreme measure. Other proposals provided for the management of the zones by private companies.
