Burgas Municipality presented its annual tourism awards at an official ceremony in Grand Hotel and SPA "Primoretz". The event gathered representatives of the hotel, restaurant, and tour operator businesses. The awards ceremony was attended by the Regional Governor Dobromir Gyulev, the Mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov, deputy mayors, and municipal councilors.
The awards were distributed in six categories. In the first, which was for hotels and accommodation based on tourist tax revenue, the award went to Hotel "Avenue". Thank you letters were presented to Grand Hotel and SPA "Primoretz" and Hotel "Bulgaria".
In the category for key locations, the award went to "Fabrik Club Burgas" (Fabric Club Burgas). Deputy Mayor for Culture Diana Savateva presented thank you letters to the chains "K2 and K3", "Marketo", "Butler's Culture" and "Popeye". In the Restaurants and Establishments section, the Deputy Mayor for Finance Stanimir Apostolov awarded "La Bottarga", and thank you letters were received by "Steak House La Ferme" and "Dock 5".
Among tour operators, first place was awarded to "Tedi Kam". The Deputy Mayor for Sports and Tourism in Burgas Municipality, Manol Todorov, presented thank you letters to "Dinita Tours" and "Evelin R" (Evelin R). In the Digitalization in Tourism category, Deputy Mayor Vesna Baltina awarded "Quendoo", and certificates were received by "Creato Solutions" and "Urbo Studio".
