Burgas Municipality is launching 5 projects under the "Regions Development 2021-2027" program, worth nearly 34 million euros. These projects cover education, healthcare, social activities, sustainable urban environment, and economy, with a focus on improving the quality of life and adaptation to climate change.

Burgas Municipality has announced the implementation of five significant projects, financed under the "Regions Development 2021–2027" program, with a total value of nearly 34 million euros.

The projects are aimed at key areas and aim to improve the city's appearance and upgrade the long-term strategy for sustainable development. The investments are focused on creating an attractive urban environment, increasing energy efficiency and ensuring quality services for citizens.

  1. Infrastructure and Education: Renovation of schools, sports halls and creation of green areas. Emphasis on energy efficiency and improvement of the urban environment.
  2. Academic Center: Construction of an innovative center for higher education with educational, sports and scientific infrastructure.
  3. Healthcare and Social Services: Creation of new social services, modernization of nursing homes and medical equipment.
  4. Sustainable Transport: Delivery of electric buses, construction of charging stations, a regional road safety center and traffic modernization.
  5. Economic Development: Rehabilitation of "Krayezerna" street, development of bicycle infrastructure, new spaces in industrial zones.

The projects are interconnected and represent a comprehensive package of investments for a better, greener and more sustainable city.
