New opportunities for startups in Burgas
Starting August 1st, Burgas Municipality is opening its second funding session for innovative projects in 2026. The program aims to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing financial resources and mentorship for the development of business ideas at the local level.
The funding is aimed at projects that address economic, social, or environmental challenges in the region.
Who can apply?
- Micro and small enterprises registered for up to 3 years.
- Creative teams of at least two individuals with a shared business concept.
- Students over the age of 16 with entrepreneurial ideas.
What does the support include?
Approved candidates can receive up to 2,550 euros, which covers up to 50% of the project's cost. For student teams, the funding is up to 2,550 euros with no requirement for own contribution. Additional benefits include:
- Access to office space and technical resources.
- Professional consultations and mentorship.
- Training for developing a business plan.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is September 5th. Applications are submitted entirely online through the official portal of the "Business Incubator – Burgas".
