Burgas Municipality is launching a large-scale information campaign related to the traffic organization during the Giro d’Italia cycling tour.
All students from 1st to 4th grade and children from kindergartens in Burgas will receive information brochures today, which they will hand over to their parents. The brochures describe the streets that will be closed on the days from May 6 to 9, as well as the buffer parking lots that the residents and guests of the city will be able to use.
Three QR codes are also printed on the brochures, which lead to an interactive map, the website of the competition and a short video, which also shows the closed streets and alternatives for moving and parking.
The information will also be available to parents through the Shkolo platform. In this way, nearly 14,000 families from Burgas will be notified of the changes in traffic during the cycling tour.
Brochures will also be received by all those living in the area of the streets through which the competitors will pass. Part of the information blanks are also left in the Tourist Information Center. A total of 20,000 brochures will be distributed in Burgas.
Information on closed streets, buffer parking lots and parking options will also be published on the website of Burgas Municipality, so that every resident or guest of the city can get the information they need.
