Educational Forum in Burgas: New Specialties and Training Opportunities

Over 16 universities and 20 schools presented their training opportunities at the "I Choose to Study in Bulgaria" forum in Burgas. The focus was on new specialties that meet the needs of the labor market and the development of the city.

The educational forum "I Choose to Study in Bulgaria" brought together over 16 universities and more than 20 schools at the Tria Space conference center in Burgas. The event, organized by Burgas Municipality, attracted students and parents who got acquainted with the opportunities for education in higher and secondary schools.

Deputy Mayor Diana Savateva emphasized the Municipality's commitment to resolving demographic problems and encouraging young people to choose Burgas for their education and future.

The forum demonstrated the expansion of educational opportunities in Burgas, including new specialties that meet the needs of the labor market. The University of Mining and Geology "St. Ivan Rilski" will open a branch with specializations such as "Gas, Fuel and Purification Technology" and "Drilling, Extraction and Transport of Oil and Gas". Burgas State University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" offers new bachelor's degrees in the fields of music, literature and medicine. Burgas Free University presents specializations such as "Marketing and Digital Communications". The branch of Sofia University introduces specializations for studying Japanese, Chinese and Korean. The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts presents acting, as well as new bachelor's programs for dance, performance, animation and film design.
