Kia has unveiled the updated version of the compact crossover Niro, which has received a refreshed design and updated interior. The emphasis is placed on the brand's philosophy of "Opposites United."
Exterior: The updated Niro features new, more vertically elongated headlights with T-shaped daytime running lights, connected by a black strip, shaped like a pointed "tiger nose." The protective panels around the body have been redesigned, including extensions to the wheel arches. The front bumper has integrated rectangles for fog lights and a large air intake. The model also gets new 18-inch two-tone wheels.
Interior: A new two-spoke multifunction steering wheel has been installed in the cabin, and a redesigned dashboard with a curved instrument panel integrating a 12.3-inch virtual instrument panel and a 12.3-inch touchscreen.
Powertrain: The updated Kia Niro is expected to retain the two hybrid drive options: a full hybrid (141 hp) and a Plug-in hybrid (183 hp and 65 km electric range).
Sales of the updated Kia Niro are planned to begin in March.
