Volkswagen ID. Cross: The future of compact SUVs
Volkswagen has unveiled its new all-electric compact SUV – the ID. Cross. The model combines stylish design, premium segment technologies, and intelligent use of space, setting new standards in its class.
"The ID. Cross combines technological expertise and clean design with an excellent price-to-performance ratio," commented Thomas Schäfer, CEO of Volkswagen.
Technical specifications and range
The new model is developed on the MEB+ platform and offers impressive flexibility:
- Power: three variants – 85 kW (116 hp), 99 kW (135 hp), and 155 kW (211 hp).
- Batteries: two variants with a net capacity of 37 kWh and 52 kWh.
- Range: up to 427 km according to the WLTP cycle, ideal for urban environments and long trips.
Space and functionality
With a length of 4153 mm, the ID. Cross offers surprisingly large amounts of space. The trunk volume is 475 liters (20 liters more than the T-Cross), and an additional 25-liter compartment under the front hood is perfect for storing charging cables.
When can we expect it?
The Volkswagen ID. Cross is scheduled for a market debut in 2026, and is expected to build on the success of the popular T-Cross in the compact car segment.
