At the first meeting of the District Election Commission for the 2nd multi-member constituency held yesterday, Regional Governor Diko Dikov presented the seals to its chairman, Georgi Mihov, marking the symbolic start of the commission's operations for the upcoming presidential and vice-presidential elections, which will take place on October 25. In his address to the new members, Dikov emphasized: "The District Election Commission of the 2nd multi-member constituency has an established reputation for efficiency, good organization, and teamwork. I wish the new composition of the REC to build upon the successes of the commission's work from previous elections as a guarantee for fair and transparent elections."
Regarding administrative support, the Regional Governor guaranteed full assistance from the Burgas Regional Administration within the scope of its powers.
