The State Agency "Road Safety" proposes the creation of a register of individual electric vehicles and their owners. It is also planned to create a unified automated information system for their registration, to be used by all municipalities. The deadline for registration of scooters is July 1, 2026.
The bill also provides for the possibility of installing devices to control traffic rules and video surveillance on traffic lights, in order to standardize the interpretation of the law.
We remind you that in July the parliament adopted amendments to the Law, which oblige drivers of electric scooters to have "Civil Liability" insurance and the vehicle to be registered.
