Three Bactrian camels are the new inhabitants of Burgas Zoo, reports our correspondent. A family of majestic creatures, including a mother, father, and their offspring, has settled in the spacious park, offering visitors a unique experience.

Our team managed to get to the zoo, where the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. It seemed that entire families had come to see the new residents. Children excitedly pointed at their new friends.

The parents, known as Kali and Freddy, have already found their new home, and their charming child is still unnamed. The zoo is calling on the public to participate in choosing a name for the young camel, offering the future adopter the unique opportunity to name the new addition.

The camels, as we were assured by the zoo management, are in excellent condition and show a calm disposition. They are enjoying their new home, which provides more than five decares of spacious area. There, they freely roam, rest, and interact with the curious gazes of visitors.

The new home of the camels is designed on a unique concept that aims to recreate an environment as close as possible to the animals_q_ natural habitat. Gradually, the traditional nets will be replaced with electric fences and natural barriers. This allows the animals to feel free and relaxed, while visitors can observe them in an environment that resembles their real habitat.

Bactrian camels, also known as Bactrians (Camelus bactrianus), are among the most resilient creatures in the world. They are born in the harsh steppes and semi-deserts of Central Asia and are perfectly adapted to extreme conditions. These animals can withstand temperatures from -40_qC to +40_qC, travel tens of kilometers without water, and store energy in their two humps in the form of fat.

In addition, Bactrians are known for their intelligence, sociability, and strong attachment to their family.

The family of Kali, Freddy, and their offspring are already among the favorites of visitors. The new spacious home represents another step in the mission of Burgas Zoo – to promote a closer connection between people and animals.
