The International "Puppet Days" festival returns to Burgas
For the thirteenth consecutive year, Burgas is hosting the "Puppet Days" festival. From August 11th to 15th, the "Snail" stage in the Sea Garden will be the center of theatrical art for young and old.
"Today's special moments are our tomorrow's memories" – the motto of this year's edition invites us to a shared adventure.
Program and highlights:
- 14 theater troupes: 11 from Bulgaria and 3 international groups from France, Italy, and Romania.
- Side events: The "Hanna and the Puppets" exhibition and the premiere of the book "Sea Horse" featuring children's poems by Hristo Fotev.
- Creativity: "Kite Days" – a large-scale initiative for crafting and flying 200 kites.
All performances and events have free admission. The festival is organized by the State Puppet Theater – Burgas and has established itself as one of the most anticipated events of the season.
