In anticipation of the introduction of the new EU system for geographical indications of craft and industrial products (CIGI), the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) will hold a five-day online seminar aimed at producers and producer groups of these goods. The webinar will take place from June 30 to July 4, 2025, each day from 10:00 to 13:00 (Central European Time) and will be available in 5 languages - English, Spanish, French, Italian and German.

The main purpose of the training is to provide practical guidance and explanations regarding the new system for registration of geographical indications for craft and industrial products in the EU. The seminar will be particularly useful for stakeholders planning to apply for protection of their products through this scheme, as well as for those already engaged in CIGI activities.
