Secure water supply for Nessebar: The new reservoir is ready
"Water Supply and Sewerage" EAD Burgas announced the successful completion of the planned expansion of the water supply system in the Nessebar area. The project includes the commissioning of a second reservoir with a volume of over 12,000 cubic meters, located in the "Strolata" area.
This investment is key to the stability of water supply along the Southern Black Sea coast, especially during the peak moments of the summer season.
Why is the new infrastructure project important?
- Increased security: Provides significant backup capacity for the region.
- Optimization: Reduces the risk of water rationing and shortages during high consumption by tourists.
- Upgrade: Until now, the area was served by only one reservoir with a volume of 20,000 cubic meters.
The activities were implemented within the framework of the large-scale "Reconstruction of the Water and Sewerage Network of Nessebar" project, which is part of the Integrated Water Project for the Burgas region.
