In the heart of Kazanlak, a landmark event took place, marking a qualitative leap in support for the most vulnerable members of society. The newly opened Center for Specialized Health and Social Care is a modern complex designed to meet the complex needs of children with severe health challenges.

Deputy Minister of Health Dobromira Kareva emphasized the fundamental importance of the institution. According to her, the center is not just another social service, but an essential transformation in understanding care and support. The key focus is on the personalized approach that guarantees individual attention to each child.

The project is funded under the Operational Program "Regions in Growth" for the period 2014-2020, making it part of a large-scale national deinstitutionalization strategy. The center has modern infrastructure adapted for children with various motor and sensory challenges.

"Our goal is to provide an environment that not only cares but truly supports the development of children," Kareva stated. She emphasized that the institution is designed as a space where medical care is combined with emotional warmth and an individual approach.

The center in Kazanlak symbolizes the modern humane model - where every child receives a chance to grow, develop, and become a full-fledged person, regardless of their health challenges.
