Milan signs another Bulgarian talent

The Italian giant AC Milan has confirmed its interest in the Bulgarian football market. Following the success of Valeri Vladimirov, the "Rossoneri" have secured the signature of another promising defender – 14-year-old Tomi Hadzhiev.

Deal details

According to the renowned journalist Nicolo Schira, Hadzhiev's contract will run until 2029, with his official joining of the club taking place after he turns 16 in September 2026.

The connection with Valeri Vladimirov

Tomi Hadzhiev will follow in the footsteps of Valeri Vladimirov, who is already establishing himself in the "Milan Futuro" project. Vladimirov, who also came through the Botev Plovdiv youth academy, is already receiving call-ups to the "Rossoneri" first team.

This transfer proves that Bulgarian academies are starting to produce players who are competitive at the highest European level.
