The National Nomination Commission is holding its third consecutive meeting today in the National Assembly building, scheduled for 9:30 AM. The main purpose of the working meeting is a detailed review of the documents of candidates for future members of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The focus is on the file of lawyer Adelina Natina-Zikolova, whose documents will be thoroughly checked. The Commission will analyze her property declaration, interests, and will conduct a specific check for possible affiliation with former state services.

Among the main tasks of today's meeting is the official invitation for a hearing of the admitted candidates. A total of four experts are competing for membership in the anti-corruption body - besides Natina-Zikolova, these are lawyers Maria Daskalova, Petar Koev, and Stoyan Petkov.

At its previous meeting, the nomination commission postponed its decision on Natina's admissibility due to identified incompleteness in her documents. The commission consists of high-ranking representatives from various state institutions, including Venera Milova, Nina Sedefova, Kalin Kalpakchiev, Aysun Akdzhiev, and Silvia Kudreva.

The upcoming discussion is expected to provide final clarity around the selection process for future members of the anti-corruption body.
