Unanimously, the Supervisory Board of the National Social Security Institute (NSI) approved the draft budget of the State Social Security. This was announced after the end of the meeting by Maria Mincheva, Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce (BCC) and the President of the KT "Support" Dimitar Manolov.
Before the start of the meeting, the Minister of Social Affairs Borislav Gutsanov announced that the social expenses are preserved in the plan-calculation of the SSO for 2026. And the president of the KT "Support" Dimitar Manolov expressed some reservations.
The Ministry of Finance has already published on its page the main parameters of the revised plan-calculation of the state for the next year.
Regarding the SSO, it is planned that from January 1, 2027, the insurance contribution for the "Pensions" fund of the state social security (SSO) will be increased by one percentage point, and from January 1, 2028 - by two percentage points. The minimum insurance income for the self-insured persons is increased from January 1, 2026 to 620.20 euros, and the maximum for all insured persons is increased from January 1, 2026 to 2300 euros, for 2027 - to 2505 euros and for 2028 - to 2659 euros.
From January 1, 2026, the minimum wage will become 620.20 euros, the government plans. Next year, the income policy for pedagogical specialists in the system of preschool and school education will be preserved.
