Current status of the Danube River
Over the past 24 hours, there has been a trend of stagnation and a minimal rise in the water level of the Danube River. Data from the Executive Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River show the following picture:
- Ruse: +2 cm
- Nikopol: +1 cm
- Svishtov: +4 cm
- Lom: -4 cm
- Novo Selo and Silistra: no change (stagnation)
Important information for navigation: Currently, there are no newly grounded vessels. Despite the slight changes in levels, draft restrictions for vessels remain in force for the entire section of the river.
The forecasts for the coming days are optimistic, with a gradual rise in the river level expected.
